1st April 2010, the Commerce and Employment Department of the States of Guernsey issued a consultation paper setting out a series of proposed amendments to the Review of Companies (Guernsey) Law, 2008 following the initial bedding in period wherein inconsistencies and minor oversights have been identified and feedback from practitioners has been observed. The consultation period ends on 31 May 2010 and it is anticipated that, following consideration of the feedback and comment received, details of the amendments to be put before the States for their consideration will be forthcoming later this year.
