Executorship, Estate Administration & Probate

GTC provides executorship, estate administration services and probate.

"Probate" is a term commonly used as a generalisation for what ought more properly to be called a "Grant of Representation". Such a Grant authorises a person to administer and manage the personal estate of a person who has died.

GTC services include:

Arranging an inventory and valuation of all of the assets of the personal
estate.
Obtaining Grants of Representation in Guernsey and other jurisdictions and
dealing with other legal formalities.
Dealing with the settlement of all debts and tax liabilities.
Distributing the assets to the beneficiaries in accordance with the law and
terms of the will.
Administering any trusts created under the terms of the Will.
Preparation of probate documentation and representation in the Ecclesiastical Court of Guernsey in respect of applications for grants of administration.
